Sebastien, one of the founders of La Soufflerie, grew up in Ticino, Switzerland and there they have named after their patron saint, San Rocco. This carafe was first made as a piece to auction off during the festival. Since then, it has become one of their most popular pieces! It is a short round bellied jug with a large handle for easy pouring.
Since these are handmade, there may be a slight variation in size. We think it makes the products all the more lovely!
La Soufflerie's artisans hand blow original designs from recycled glass using traditional artisan techniques. Their attention to detail lends sophistication to a centuries old craft.
